Ingredients: Chile powder, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, spices, Mexican oregano.

Pack sizes:
• 25gm packet — seasons up to 500g mince
• 75gm packet — seasons up to 1.5kg mince

How to Make Chile Mojo Tacos

You will need:

  • 500g beef or chicken mince (or plant-based mince)
  • 1 sachet Chile Mojo Taco Seasoning (25gm)
  • ½ cup water
  • Corn or flour tortillas

Toppings (mix and match):

  • Grated cheese
  • Diced fresh tomato
  • Diced white onion
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Sour cream
  • Avocado or guacamole
  • Black olive slices
  • Fresh chile slices or jalapenos
  • Refried beans
  • Your favourite salsa

Method:

  1. Brown mince in a frying pan over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Drain any excess fat, then add Chile Mojo Taco Seasoning and water. Stir well.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry pan or directly over a gas flame.
  5. Fill tortillas with seasoned meat and pile on your favourite toppings.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Tip: Double the batch and use leftovers for burritos, taco bowls or nachos the next day.
